Announcing the launch of the Japanese online courses in the international tax field ("Tax Academy")

The online courses will be available to anyone overseas who wants to gain an understanding of Japan’s international taxation regime. The charge for each course varies depending on the topics selected.

PwC Tax Japan is pleased to announce the launch of its new "Tax Academy" on 5 October 2022. "Tax Academy" provides online courses to support those wishing to develop their skills in the international tax field.

Since 2006, PwC Tax Japan has offered a series of in-person Japanese lectures that provide a basic explanation of the Japanese tax system, as well as various practical issues related to international taxation. This series is based on our extensive practical experience in the international tax area, and by knowledge gathered from PwC’s global network. In addition to this Japanese content, we have also offered certain in-person lectures in English, which have provided an overview of the Japanese tax system for foreign companies that are considering expanding into Japan.

PwC Tax Japan has now converted the content of these in-person lectures into online courses. These online courses will thus be available not only to tax professionals in Japan, but also to anyone overseas who wants to gain an understanding of Japan’s international taxation regime.
