Former Yugoslav treaty applies to Kosovo
Germany and Kosovo have agreed to follow the German/Yugoslav double tax treaty in their mutual tax relations.
Germany and Kosovo have agreed to follow the provisions of the 1987 German/Yugoslav double tax treaty in their mutual tax relations. The agreement entered into force on June 10, 2011. With this agreement, there is full German tax treaty coverage of the former Yugoslav territory. The old treaty continues in force with respect to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia, whilst new treaties have been concluded with Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia.
