Global Webcast 28 Mai: Sustainable Supply Chains - Our approach to CSDDD

Establishing sustainable and resilient value chains presents significant challenges particularly in the context of geopolitical shifts, but also opportunities for businesses to accelerate business transformation. National governments are legislating to help regulate and monitor impacts including the European Union through the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Currently, we are observing potential changes stemming from the Omnibus package released by the European Commission on February 26, 2025. Regardless of the final form of these regulations, CSDDD is imminent and will enforce stringent requirements on companies.

We invite you to our webcast "Sustainable Supply Chains: Our approach to CSDDD”, on 28 May 2025 from 13:00 to 14:00 (CEST).

In this webcast, we will provide an overview of the requirements of the CSDDD and examine its key changes due to the Omnibus initiative from the European Commission. We will discuss the key changes and their implications for your business practices and highlight why it is beneficial to consider the due diligence obligations and wider requirements of the CSDDD now.

We will address the following topics:

  • The Omnibus process and its impact on the CSDDD.
  • Requirements of the CSDDD and synergies between related regulatory frameworks such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), the EU Forced Labour Act, and national regulations like Germany's Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) or UK Modern Slavery Act.
  • Impact of the CSDDD on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
  • How companies can organize their supply chains to establish resilient procurement systems and fulfill compliance requirements.
  • Changes to governance to mitigate risk and liability but also to protect directors of parent and subsidiary companies.

We look forward to welcoming you to our webcast!
