About this Blog
With this blog, we would like to inform you about current developments and relevant innovations on the topic of risk management in credit institutions. The range of topics covered includes regulatory issues, requirements from national and international banking supervision and their implementation in risk management practice. Another focus is on the impact of new requirements on the areas of trading / investment banking and the lending business - including quantitative aspects of financial mathematics. Our experience from audits and consulting projects at a large number of nationally and internationally active institutions of different business orientation and size is incorporated into the contributions.
The blog is aimed at managers and specialists who deal with the dynamic requirements of risk management as part of their daily tasks. For this purpose, we offer a medium that presents relevant information in a clear and continuously updated manner. In addition, we would also like to take account of the fact that effective risk controlling is not the sole responsibility of the relevant organizational unit. The financial crisis in particular has demonstrated the scope of cross-divisional risk awareness in financial institutions. Therefore, it is also our goal to provide all other interested parties with a well-founded insight into the current developments in this exciting topic area.
